World Health Organization Stakeholder Workshop on Insulin and Associated Devices

The World Health Organization (WHO) held a virtual stakeholder workshop on September 21 and 23-25, 2020, on Access to Insulin and Associated Devices. The workshop was attended by academia, the United Nations, government representatives, the private sector and NGOs, including humanitarian organizations. The workshop aimed to inform stakeholders of the WHO’s global objectives to increase availability and affordability of quality-assured insulin and associated devices, discuss the barriers to access of these products, and identify possible solutions through the collaborative efforts of multisectoral stakeholders.
